The Grimsby Tennis Club is located at 46 St Andrews Avenue, behind the Grimsby Square Shopping Centre. It’s a volunteer-run non-profit within the Town of Grimsby parks and recreation system. There are four courts and a raised clubhouse with washroom and change room facilities in the lower level.

In 2019, 2022 and 2023, the club hosted the Janco Steel Classic, an international wheelchair tennis tournament. For this extraordinary contribution to the sport of tennis, Ron Mauro was presented with a Birmingham Legacy Award by Tennis Canada.

OTA Recognition Awards
The Bruce Childs Awards are presented annually to club members in recognition of exceptional volunteer service.
Clubs are invited to send nominations to Andrew Chappell in the OTA office toward the end of the summer season. In 2023, Sue Henry and Carole Webster of Grimsby TC were honoured.
