The Rosedale Tennis Club is in Gage Park (42 Lawrence Road). It’s a volunteer-run non-profit within the City of Hamilton parks and recreation system. There are 12 tennis courts. Four hard courts were rebuilt in 2024; they’re equipped with an inflatable dome which remains in place year-round. Four red clay courts are open during the outdoor season. Four green hartru courts have been under a bubble year-round, but are scheduled to become open-air during the outdoor season in the future.
Reconstruction costs were managed by the tennis club members, with support from a loan by the City of Hamilton, to be repaid with annual instalments.
